fun times

Who would think that something as cute as this......

Could do something like this in the 3 minutes I turned my back. That's a paper towel roll that she thought belonged to her . That's not the best she can do.

I've been bored so I decided to take pictures of Chester. He's sleeping in the sunshine on his blue blanket.

Ok, funny story, the kitten likes to greet people at the door. Ben's on the other side of the door and when he knocked on it she jumped on the door to look out and see who it was. She's gotten to where she does this on a regular basis.

Well, I hope you enjoy these pictures. I love them very much. be good and I will be back soon

5 weeks left

I have 5 weeks of school left. I cannot wait. I have taken a vow to not do anymore knitting until I finish my school work or at least get it under control. It's on it's way to being in control. I pulled the articles I need for one term paper, ordered the books for the same paper, wrote a book review, am about to write a presentation that's due a week from tuesday, and then write my HUGE senior seminar paper. I still need to come up with my topic for my next poli sci paper. I have till tomorrow. I'm still thinking.

Well.... until I get more school work done I will not be knitting much.

no time

I have no time at all for ANYTHING! Except schoolwork. Ick. I haven't been doing much, just reading researching, writing, and reading some more. Right now I am currently reading........ about 10 books...... holy crap. yeah that's right. 10. KILL ME PLEASE! I have to come to the end of my academic career soon.

In sad news. My dear Hobby Lobby has closed down. I have no yarn source anymore. Bummer. Well back to class.

And a post. Let's start with BEFORE I went out of town. (This place has wireless and I'm loving it. I'm still connected to the real world) I finished the baby sweater and it's SUPER cute. The cables look good and even, the seems (you can't see them) look pretty good considering I was all up on coffee.

Here are the mittens and the hat (I need to make a pom pom). So cute! I want to make another one in a different color to keep it set aside.

Ok funny story. I went to my friend Whitney's house on Wednesday to hang out with her and her family. I had a lot of fun and ate good food and had good conversation and smoked with Whitney while talking about life. I showed off my latest creation to Whitney and Mama Gena. It was great. I must do that again some time soon. However when I came home my family was still up and about the house when they decided to inform me that the cats had gotten into a bag of yarn and drug the entire skein of fuzzy pink yarn (it was only 50 cents) ALL over the living room. I thought it was funny so I had a good laugh and then took a picture of it. The black blob is my baby Angus, who was also playing with it. The main offender is my little one Baby. All the cats have been playing with it but she's most likely the one who started the whole unraveling deal. God love her.

Now that I am up here I have not been idle. I have been playing with yarn still. I brought three projects up here (actually 4) with the intent on finishing them. An easy scarf that will only take a bit to finish.

And socks. Bright pink wool socks for my mom. I'm working on the gusset now and will finish it soon and then be onto the second sock.

soon..... soon.....

I'm currently in Wake Forrest NC and will soon publish a new post. YAY! I promise it will be soon. Won't take too much longer for me to get my stuff together. After the 7 hour drive I'm totally worn out. So I need some recovery time. SOON!
