I need to do better

I got married. I should update more often but I've been a little crazy lately. Life is good and promises to get better. I've been able to cook and bake and knit like mad and have a very supportive hubby. I just love my husband and our cute apartment that feels more like a home every day.

bleh

Well for one I'm engaged to be married on June 12th. A month and two days away. We'll be living in Henry County in a cute apartment while we get some debt paid off and then start to save a good down payment for a house. We met not long after my last post. Yeah it happened fast but I knew very early in our relationship that Curtis is the one for me. So ready for the wedding to be here and I'm sure I'll have more pictures to post later.

Back after being gone too long.

Wow..... I didn't realize I had been gone so long. Over a year. How negligent am I. Well, I guess it's time for a short update. I'm teaching at NCC this year, teaching World Geography. I have about 30 students all in high school. It's been a great learning opportunity. I am still working at Barnes and Noble and while I still enjoy that job I'm looking to move on to something different.

Still reading too much. Some things never change. Still watch too many movies. I got a Kindle 2 to hopefully keep me from having to line my entire room in bookshelves. So far I love it very much. It's a cool device and let's me take my own personal library everywhere with me.

I don't have a whole lot to say on here right now.... maybe I will later. I don't think I'll use this for kitting as much as I have in the past. Some knitting but not all knitting.

We'll see if I can commit this time. Most likely not.

Why?

...beause I'm lame. That's why. I've gotten quite lazy and haven't been keep up with this like I should be. What can I say. I have commitment issues. I haven't been totally idle though.

This is finished a whole lot more than it looks. I'll put the finished project up soon. Can anyone guess where I'm going with this?

Also, I am working on this for my grandmother. It's kind of 1/4 of the way through.

This is my lace shawl that I got the pattern from Vogue Knitting. It's not very far along because it's VERY tedious. Very pretty though.

To end this short blog. A picture of my dog. I love my dog. He's awesome even when he pouts.
