I have been gone for a long time. Too long really. A lot has changed since my last post.
Curtis and I are expecting our first child this Thanksgiving. Amelia will be here before I know it and I CANNOT wait to hold her. That said I am terrified out of my mind. She's already super active all the time. I don't sleep much already.
This next stage of our life is also coming with a change of venue. Curtis got a really good new job and with it we are moving to a new house at the end of the month. We have to move out of our apartment really really quickly. We have just at 3 weeks.
It's a lot.
I do not recommend moving this quickly at almost 30 weeks pregnant. Especially when you've been given orders to lift nothing. Curtis has been fantastic and taking on so many responsibilities. Especially since my most recent doctor's visit where I was instructed to greatly reduce my stress (and eat more!).
My fur babies are all stressed out. Especially the newest addition we welcomed into our tiny home almost a year ago.
Meet Stitch. He showed up in October last year as a small hungry kitten and melted my heart. When a big male cat tried to kill him one night I declared he was from then on a member of our home. He fits right in and him and grumpy kitty get along fantastically. It's like they've always lived together.
Stitch has never experienced a move, he's sticking by my side constantly and follows me around. He'll love the new house and all the space it will give him.
That's another fact I'm excited about. We are going from a one bedroom apartment, to a large spacious 3 bedroom home. With extra rooms. I am trilled beyond words. Hubby will have his own room for all his gear so it stays out of our way. I can even set up a craft room in another extra room.
This new home is a blessing and we are so thankful. I cannot wait to get into it and set it up.
And then wait for Miss Amelia to make her debut!
